Description of Sessions
Each MESA program will be placed in one of four groups and will rotate among four different workshops.
Learn to Code with Swift Playgrounds – Use coding to design a frame by frame animation to explore ideas for creating a Medical Transport vehicle! Presented by Santa Fe Creative Coding Initiative. Students will be provided with all materials needed to explore this exciting platform. Lots of hands-on interaction.
SFCC Planetarium – Let’s have some fun exploring space. After a long renovation, the SFCC Planetarium has been updated with amazing new equipment to provide an informative and enjoyable exploration of our skies.
Medical Transport – Join us as Santa Fe Community College’s Medical Program will share the opportunity to learn about medical transport vehicles, with some hands-on experience touring vehicles. As a bonus, groups will have the option to see the latest virtual dissection technology now at SFCC.
Vehicle Engineering – Hear from SFCC Engineering and Automotive faculty as we discuss vehicle physics, propulsion, energy, and more!
