If you are registered for the On Site Math event, this is where you will find some relevant information. We are looking forward to a great Math event featuring the popular online game called Kahoot.
Below are some important updates for the event, so please take some time to read the updates so that you are prepared for the event.
- On Site Math times *PLEASE TRY TO LOG ON 5 MINUTES BEFORE
- 10am – Competition Instructions and Practice Round

- This time is designated for instructions/questions and a practice round to become familiar with Kahoot.

- 11am – Round 1
- 12:45pm – Round 2
- 2:30pm – Round 3

- Please check your email or check with your MESA teacher for the zoom links. If you have not received the zoom links, please email ssmith@nmmesa.org.
- Emails have been sent to each teacher and On Site Math competitor with updates. If you have not received any emails, please email the Math Coordinator at ssmith@nmmesa.org.

- Each Math competitor should have received a Math packet in the mail. If you have not received your packet, please email Betty Chancey at betty@nmmesa.org.
- Please do NOT open your Math packet until the day of your competition.
- Competitors will be required to show unopened packages to the event coordinators. Penalties may be given if packages are open.
- As with any competition, students cannot have help from outside sources during the competition. To enforce this rule, all students MUST have their cameras on during the competition. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
- Scoring of the event was designed to allow for possible internet drops. Please log back in to the event and Kahoot if your internet becomes unstable.
- There are 3 one hour events throughout the day. Within the one hour, there will be 3 mini rounds students will complete.
- Students’ scores are determined by the top two scores in each mini round.
- The max score for Rounds 1 and 2 is 25 points.
- The max score for Round 3 is 50 points.
- The max overall score for each student is 100 points.
