Professional Development Sessions will be held to help MESA teachers with resources through the school year. Instead of in person singular training, we will be utilizing a virtual module training method to support our advisors (teachers) in their teaching practices, assistance with project-based learning, our yearly theme of “Celebrating 40 Years of NM MESA”, and adapting their classroom and MESA program to the current educational landscape. Each module will be up to a full day of training, will be recorded for future viewing, will provide opportunities for followup assistance, and will provide resources for continued learning. Future training events may be open to all teachers at NM MESA schools (TBD).

- All sessions will be held virtually via zoom. “Live” attendance is considered participation in real time.

- Advisors only eligible for (1) ThinkWave Training Stipend (same training as in July). Only new advisors are eligible for stipend for attending New Advisor Orientation, all welcome for information. Stipend for Regional Meeting will only be provided if there is a Regional Meeting .
