Hello Advisors! Back to school is approaching us quickly, we have had our virtual RAM on July 28th for those who selected this option. This year, flexibility is key and this includes the format and options for our meetings. I will accommodate as best as I can and in the most preferred format (in person or online). All RAMs will include a $50 stipend, a mileage reimbursement if in person, meals for the day if in person, and STEM goodies/supplies for all. We will be doing an overview of our upcoming year events for both the fall and spring semesters, signing up for site visits, kick-off events, and many other things. Finally, we will be learning about MESA Day and MESA USA themes to help us guide the work we complete this school year and to ensure all programs are supported in meeting performance watch criteria.
An agenda will be mailed out on August 5th, 2021 for our RAM in person on August 19th, 2021; 8:00 AM-3:00 PM in Las Vegas, NM at our NMHU MESA Office.
Please come prepared with:
- Advisor Contract– fully signed by the school administrators
- A Laptop
- Comfortable clothes and shoes as we will be moving around and outside for an activity.

- School information to update in MIMS

Curriculum Regional Workshop Credit
All schools will be required to use and request supplies for at minimum 1 lesson and a max 3 of your choice to lead with your MESA group. Your pick from the 26 lessons MESA Curriculum, MESA STEM E-Curriculum, MESA USA Prosthetics Curriculum, Invention Education Curriculum, others.
Task: Visit our website and sign the curriculum waiver at the link below; the MESA Curriculums are available to all MESA programs for MESA use only. Once you have signed the waiver you can access the curriculum as many times as you want and use it.
