MIDDLE SCHOOL STEM Showdown Dates: Monday, September 14, 2026-Friday, September 18, 2026

- Daily Agenda: Each day will follow a similar agenda. Schools will be able to register for their preferred day if it still available this can be shared with an MS/HS from the same district. This requires participation and commitment of about 20 students per school. Plan to be in OUTSIDE for the whole day in Las Vegas from 9AM-2PM. Natural resource focused, career exploration, workshops, presentations, and mentors will vary per day.
- Attendees/School will need to bring their own lunch, water, and any other needs for the day.
- Student Release: To participate, students MUST have an A0 on file AND bring (or submit in advance) a signed release from NMHU Conservation Institute.

Requirements to Attend:
- All students must have paperwork on file-A0s for MESA and release forms for NMHU can be brought in person day of or scanned in
- Arrange transportation as needed. Either your district/school will provide or you must submit a B4 Fieldtrip Request Form to Andrea Manzanares AManzanares@nmmesa.org
- Please submit transportation requests within 2 weeks of registered date.
- Bring Lunches and water bottles. Prepare for weather-Event will take place rain or shine. Sunscreen, hats, sweaters, and comfortable shoes are recommended.
