For the North, Rally 2021 is different in that schools will participate in weekly STEAM challenges for three weeks, and all will take place virtually with hands-on components that will be mailed to each student participant. This year’s rally’s main goal is to help prepare students for MESA Day and our theme, “Designing for Equity.” Each weekly challenge will take an “onsite” format; therefore, instructions, content, and materials will be released every Monday of that week. Any hands-on materials will be mailed to students before the week’s challenge. Then deliverables for each challenge will then be due to the Regional Coordinator every Friday by 5 PM. Teachers will play a crucial role in leading and managing each challenge using their individual school virtual platforms and communication with their MESA students.
After February 19th, when all deliverables are turned in to the RC, winners will be announced! Advisors, please review the event MEMO that was emailed to you entirely for all the event details.
