It is that time again! North region teachers are invited to attend the Mid-year Regional Advisor Meeting on February 26, 2026 which will take place at New Mexico Highlands University in the Teacher Education Center. There will be two separate PDs that take place during this RAM. First, we will have the wonderful opportunity to meet our host Clint Weckerly with the Center for Teaching Excellence along with Pat from the STEM Innovation Network. Then, we have the honor of our Central Inner RC Dr. Kim Scheerer joining us to speak about project-based learning. The purpose of this meeting is to offer MESA advisors a chance to discuss education, the barriers and challenges, as well as our MESA Day and MESA USA projects. Sometimes we just need a moment to decompress, but of course with a STEM twist. We will also review what has been accomplished thus far, and what’s to come. Spring is very busy for us this time of year so if there is anything we need to catch up on we can use this meeting time to do so.
I am also offering a $50 stipend for those who attend as well as mileage for those who have to trave
***Teachers all information and agenda has been sent to you for this meeting via email.***
