Below is information about the year-long partnership for an opportunity to explore robotics, programming, and Engineering design with New Mexico Tech faculty and students. For the school year 2023-2024 there are (2) opportunities available.
Battlebots:
- Materials for (2) Class/Program Bots (to keep by program, valued at $150)
- Support –
- TRACK 1 In Person Support: Minimum of (4) Individual Virtual Class Workshops with University mentor
- TRACK 2 Asynchronous Support: Video Recoding of all Sessions with University mentor Checkin
Possible expansion of the program may include:
- In person attendance and participation in Spring NM Tech Miner Mayhem Challenge-April 27, 2023 (T)
- Additional workshop sessions as available
- Stipend and Travel for Miner Mayhem Participation
Roverbots:
- Materials for Roverbot Project (loan by NMT, valued at $2000 per bot)
- Support –
- (1) In person Training at New Mexico Tech on December 9, 2023 (Stipend and Travel Provided)
- (1) Virtual Training on January 13, 2024 (Stipend Provided)
- Individual Class Workshops as Determined
