For 2019, All of our events will address the topic of Food as a Grand Challenge.  NM MESA schools are invited to participate in our MESA Day as follows:

MESA Day Track-Teams will compete in 4 events:

  • On Site Science-Eatery Science Escape
  • On Site Math-Farmers Math: A Sum of the Real Dirty Work!
  • Prepared Design-Fly Over Operational Delivery System: FOODS
  • On Site Engineering-Bring Your Own Junk: Let’s Get Mobile!

MESA USA Track-Team will compete in Arduino Based Solutions for Humans-National Engineering Design Competition Qualifier as follows:

  • Technical Presentation &Interview
  • Academic Poster & Symposium
  • Project Report
  • Prototype Pitch

    • For Small Vehicles: If you are bringing a suburban/school vehicle an assigned parking permit will be emailed to you.
      • All parking is in the Albuquerque Convention Center Parking Garage on Martin Luther King Jr. & Broadway. Click HERE for Information.
      • There is paid parking also available here for spectators, guests, and additional vehicles.
    • For Busses:
      • All Buses are to drop off/pickup students in the Tijeras Loading Zone: Click HERE for Directions.
      • There is limited bus parking in the adjoining Marshaling Yard: Click HERE for Directions.  All Other busses will need to find another public place to stage as there is no other bus/downtown parking.
