Select schools from MESA’s North Central Region will travel to Santa Fe Community College for a fun day of outreach, tours, workshops, demonstrations and LEARNING!
Students will visit the college’s Medical Simulation Center and learn about careers in Health Sciences. They’ll also do a workshop in Sustainable Technologies and hear from Engineering faculty and visit the Fab Lab! Additionally, SFCC has recently begun Science on a Sphere presentations. Attendees of this event will be some of the first lucky participants!
ADVISORS: PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR STUDENTS WITH THIS PRE/POST ACTIVITY. THEY SHOULD COMPLETE THE PRE-EVENT PORTION BEFORE THEY ARRIVE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
Here is the AGENDA for the day.
**Note: Lunch will happen at 12:30 at the end of the 3 hours of presentations. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL STUDENTS BRING A LUNCH. There will not be enough time to purchase lunch on their own.
