2020 AMP Conference

The Annual AMP Conference, typically held in Las Cruces is GOING VIRTUAL for 2020! This conference is an excellent opportunity for our NM MESA high school students. The conference provides the opportunity each fall for our students to observe college students presenting their research, network with other students and with faculty, and attend college level workshops. The focus on professional development provides students exposure to workshops, poster presentations, and excellent speakers. The AMP Conference is a statewide high school leadership activity and will involve aspects of a professional conference, i.e. workshops, presentations and seminars etc. Registration is open to the first 50 students statewide and a wait list will be created with possible additional slots being provided dependent on response. Attending students will receive up to:

  • Leadership Credit (5 points)-For participation in the MESA interactive session.
  • Fieldtrip Credit (Academic Field Experience, 5 points)-For participation in the conference.
  • Workshop Credit (5 credits)-For completion and submittal of the digital conference booklet.
