On March 21st- Students from the NM MESA Program visited SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory for an educational tour. SLAC is home to some of the world's most cutting-edge technologies. SLAC facilities are used by researchers worldwide to uncover scientific mysteries on the smallest and the largest scales - from the workings of the atom to the secrets of the cosmos. Discoveries are made in both basic and applied science.
The MESA students at Madison Middle School won first place in the New Mexico Hydrogen Fuels Challenge on Saturday, November 19.
