New Mexico Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement, Inc. (NM MESA) prepares middle and high school students for college majors and careers in mathematics, engineering, science and related fields. NM MESA supports programs throughout the state, in which students participate in activities such as field trips, speaker presentations, workshops, academic competitions, community service and leadership development.

MESA Seniors see the world in San Deigo!
Twenty four students, four teachers and two MESA staff enjoyed the STEM scene of San Diego during our Senior Incentive Field Trip (SIFT) this April. Adventrues included San Diego State University (SDSU), whale-watching, touring San Diego Zoo, visiting Scripps Pier and more!
MESA partner Northrop Grumman works to send one New Mexico student and educator to NASA Space Camp each year!
This summer, Van Buren educator Janice Peters (left) and rising 7th grade student Juan Enriquez will learn about the wonders of space in Huntsville, Alabama. MESA is moving to a six region structure to help better serve our participating STEM schools!
MESA Day at the Roundhouse is a success!
Both Memorials, SM 10 and HM 18, passed unanimously by the legislature on January 31st. Students from all over the state shared in the effort by writing letters, visiting and being engaged in the democratic effort!
