Position Posting: Regional Coordinator for Central Outer Region. Main Areas of Responsibility: Plans, conducts, and evaluates activities, expenditures, and programs for NM MESA participants (enrolled middle, junior, and high school students) within assigned region (schools in Albuquerque, Belen, Socorro, and Santa Fe area). On March 21st- Students from the NM MESA Program visited SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory for an educational tour.  SLAC is home to some of the world's most cutting-edge technologies.  SLAC facilities are used by researchers worldwide to uncover scientific mysteries on the smallest and the largest scales - from the workings of the atom to the secrets of the cosmos.  Discoveries are made in both basic and applied science.
