STATION 1: SYNTAX CHARADES
Students work in teams to apply computer science coding and programming skills to undergo scripted challenges in a charades style competition.
STATION 2: ENVIRONMENTAL CAREER EXPLORATION
Students use team investigation to understand and perform related tasks and solve real world problems in various fields of Land Management, Natural Resources and Ecology at 3-4 career stations. Career selections will come from the following: Hydrologist, Wildlife Biologist, Park Ranger, Environmental Engineer, Soil Scientist, Climate Change Analyst, Aquaculture Manager, Sustainability Specialist, Geographer. STATION 3: SUSTAINABILITY SUPERMARKET
Students work in groups to compare and contrast products based on environmentally literate citizenry. Products are categorized by three inputs: 1) social = perceived benefit to people and/or the environment 2) economic = cost and 3) environmental = biodegradability, recyclability, weight of waste
