MESA Students and Advisors to Attend NMHU College Night in Las Vegas TODAY

Las Vegas, NM – October 26th, 2016- 175 New Mexico MESA Students and advisors will participate in the New Mexico Highlands University (NMHU) College Night today in Las Vegas, New Mexico. This event is a great opportunity for attendees to visit with staff and faculty at NMHU and Luna Community College (LCC) and explore the wonderful campus located in Las Vegas, NM.  NM MESA has partnered with NMHU to extend an extremely rewarding experience to all NM MESA students.  There will be presentations from the University President, the ARMAS program, LCC STEM, and Financial Aid in addition to campus tours and programs.  The general College Night is from 5:00-7:30 PM and is open to the public.  The NM MESA portion is being provided as an added benefit to our NM MESA students which will include time to participate in the general College Night program.

Students and advisors from Espanola Valley High School, Bernalillo High School, Miyamura High School, Gallup High School, Santa Rosa High School, and West Las Vegas High School will attend.  Students will also be engaged in activities prior to and after the conference where they will learn about New Mexico Highlands University and the college visit process.
