The New Mexico Business Roundtable organized a statewide Education Summit today at the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque.  The organization hosted a variety of professionals dedicated to positive educational reform in New Mexico.  A STEM session titled ‘Building the Network‘, featured (in the image to the right; from left to right), Marcia Barton (PED), Dr. Patricia Sullivan (NMSU), Jason Espinoza, (NM Assoc. of Commerce & Industry), Kathy Keith (LANL) and facilitator, Gwen Warniment Inquiry Science Education Consortium (LANL) while MESA math teacher Jimmy Phillips (Albuquerque High School) observes in the foreground.  Other breakout workshops included overview and input sessions regarding: the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Early Learning, Leadership and conversations around our NM Diploma.
